Who are we?
Awaketrain is a non-profit organization dedicated to documenting and sharing stories that encourage and empower people to make positive socio-environmental change. To do this, Awaketrain creates educational films about inspiring projects and shares them both via the internet and through our interactions within the communities that we visit. 

The goals of this project are three-fold: (1) to provide help to individuals and organizations undertaking inspiring projects, (2) to provide education to people nationwide regarding socio-environmental issues and how they can be solved, (3) to encourage people to take action.

Awaketrain is a program of International Humanities Center, a nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code.
